Actions

Whether it is a bot restock or a product releasing, Actions allow users to customize checkouts for any site.

Actions are customizable, user-built scripts that allow for automation on any site. Actions allow users to automate and "fill in the pieces" on sites that Lightning does not support by default.

Actions are built through a "step by step" basis on every site.

  1. Under the actions tab, hit "New Action"

  2. Fill in the appropriate fields based on what Lightning needs to accomplish on the site. For example, if Lightning needs to click a button as fast as possible. I will select "Click" as the action with no delay.

  3. Each step of the process/automations regards a unique action. Since they build upon each other, select "Add Action".

  4. Repeat Step 2

  5. Once you have completed the flow, "Save" the action.

Building actions is all based on what the user wants to accomplish on a site. Therefore, it takes lots of user experimentation and trial + error. There is no one correct collection of actions.

Actions can be imported and exported between users. With certain drops, staff will share actions for users.
